Exam options also include the duration and many more options for the exam to run. Down below, you will find the options and an explanation of the options.

Exam Type

Exam Type is the option that can determine the type of exam and can only choose when creating an examination.

  • Normal Exam is the exam that is running go through forward. This exam is good for a short exam or short time period exam.

  • Section Exam is the exam that provides the administrator to split the sections of the exam. Students will also take every section of the exam to complete the examination. This exam is good for exams that have many questions and is good for preventing students from cheating during the exam.

Duration

Duration will be used as the period for the examing run.

Start Type

Start Type is the option that determines the setup of the exam or the start date or when the exam starts.

  • Start Anytime is the type that exam can start anytime during the limited period of the exam. The exam will be closed and students can not take an exam when the time is expired. For this setting, you will need to select:

    • Start Date

    • End Date

    • End Time

  • Start Ontime is the type that the exam requires all students to start at a specific time which is set by the administrator. When the student attends the exam late the duration of the exam of students will be cut too. When the time of the exam is expired the exam will close automatically and the student can not join the exam anymore. Example: If the exam duration is 3 hours which starts at 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and students attend the exam at 10:00 AM so exam duration of that student will be 2 hours remaining. This setting requires the administrator to select:

    • Start Date

    • Start Time

    • End Date

    • End Time

NOTE: If the end time is not selected, the end time will set the default to 11:59 PM.
