To ensure accurate progress tracking and engagement monitoring, the system requires students to remain active within a lesson for a minimum duration. Specifically, learners must engage with the lesson content for more than 5 seconds to allow the system to detect their presence and record their participation. This brief time threshold serves multiple purposes:

1. It helps distinguish between accidental clicks and intentional lesson access.

2. It provides a basic measure of engagement, ensuring that students are not simply skimming through content.

3. It allows the system to accurately update the course progress percentage.

By implementing this minimal time requirement, the learning platform can more effectively track student progress, provide meaningful analytics, and ensure that learners are actively participating in their educational journey.
