Taking an examination

The "Taking an Examination" page is where learners participate in assessments designed to evaluate their skills and knowledge. When a learner clicks "Start," the examination timer begins counting down, even if the learner navigates away from the page. This feature prevents students from cheating by manipulating the time.
The LMS system provides three time alerts to inform learners when the exam is nearing its end:
the first alert appears at 15 minutes remaining
the second at 5 minutes
and the final alert at 10 seconds.
These alerts remind learners to carefully choose their answers and be aware of the remaining time, ensuring they don't miss any questions.
During examinations, the LMS system detects multiple devices to prevent learners from sharing answers or having someone else take the exam for them. The system also features an attempt counter that activates if a learner leaves the exam page for over 30 minutes. For instance, if a learner is absent from the exam page for more than 35 minutes, the system counts it as one attempt. With a limit of three attempts, the system will automatically submit the learner's answers once this limit is reached, even if they haven't completed all questions.
Please remember that when learners choose an answer, they must click the "Submit your answer" button for the system to record their selection. During the exam, learners can also revisit and modify their answers, helping them evaluate their responses before submitting the entire exam.
When learners finish answering all questions, the system provides a "Preview Examination" feature. This allows learners to review their chosen answers once more before submitting the exam. After submission, an administrator is required to click on the "Calculate Exam" button to process the results. You can follow the steps for this process in the link below.
